When Penn Mutual Life Insurance needed to make an impact with their new sponsorship of the Collegiate Rugby Championships on NBC they needed a spot. They’d never advertised to consumers in 160+ years but that didn’t stop them from going big.
SuperString created an ad that layered the energy of rugby with an introduction to the life insurance company. They also created a digital series using the same actors to go a bit deeper into the “why?” An NBC network executive stated it was the single best sports ad introducing a brand to a new audience he’d ever seen.
