We believe connecting with people through emotion and experience creates powerful, shareable social interactions. Our collective have helped I.B.M., Apple, Microsoft, TimeWarner, Google, Qualcomm, NBA, Special Olympics, Visa, HP, Audible, Virgin Records, BBDO, IPG, WPP, Amnesty International, Quincy Jones, and Peter Gabriel tell their stories.
How can we help tell yours?
QUALCOMM
This was a 5k projection, built with 1st Ave Machine for a 30' curved wall that was set behind the main stage of the Qualcomm CES keynote and Uplinq conference. The focus of the conference and the graphics were connectivity, communication, and their inherent effects as they relate within Qualcomm's diverse and innovative landscape.
The animations were created to support and document the engineering expertise behind the inventions of the company. Inspired by technical drawings, a system of diagrams with a symbolic character was developed. These diagrams move and interact with each other on the digital screen in such a way that beholders are given the impression they are being taken on a visual journey inside the minds of the engineers.
HP Inkable
We helped HP create a whole new way to share images by creating a social printing platform. Content shared over Inkable is only viewable when it arrives on your printer. Inkable makes social sharing more permanent and tangible.
Our entire team collaborated on this project over several months. We collaborated with creative technology, designers and HP R&D to invent an app and startup business for HP. The concept was to allow people to create private networks between printers to share physical printed content. It was derived from the insight that people would like some privacy to share, and not have all content digital in nature.
VISA 360º Cam App
The Visa 360º Cam app allowed Olympics and sports fans all around the world to be where they had never been before: in the athletes' shoes. Delivering on Visa's promise, "Everywhere You Want to Be," we gave fans a chance to feel closer and more connected to their favorite athletes, enabling a full access experience to their training routines and life stories.
The app uses interactive panoramic video to create a first person perspective on Olympic training. By tilting and moving your mobile device, you will shift the POV 360 degrees and see what the athlete sees and beyond (you can even access perspectives that the athletes have never seen before).
In just 30 days, the app was downloaded 329,125 times in over 100 countries around the world.
PENN MUTIAL LIFE INSURANCE
When Penn Mutual Life Insurance needed to make an impact with their new sponsorship of the Collegiate Rugby Championships on NBC they needed a spot. They’d never advertised to consumers in 160+ years but that didn’t stop them from going big.
SuperString created an ad that layered the energy of rugby with an introduction to the life insurance company. They also created a digital series using the same actors to go a bit deeper into the “why?” An NBC network executive stated it was the single best sports ad introducing a brand to a new audience he’d ever seen. We loved getting muddy.
