Sometimes the greatest creative challenge involves what you don’t have. In this case, the NBA was launching a new Worldwide Junior Championship but they had no footage. So we needed an idea that built global excitement, conveyed the essence of sportsmanship, and could be shot in one day. Oh, they also needed it on the air in two weeks.
The production team absolutely killed it! Finding the cast, locations, and crew to get it done. And even a snow storm that shut down Atlanta for two days couldn’t derail the project.
